THE CAPTAIN:::.

Episode seven

AUGIE RETURNS

AUGUSTINE FREED:

It wasn’t a distress call.

You were misled.

It was a way of capturing you.

——She smiles as she aims her WHip assault handgun towards Fid.

AUGUSTINE:

Get on your knees.

FID:

You’re not going to get away with this.

——Augustine pulls the trigger and rips two rapid shots into the outer right thigh of Fid. Fid spins and then drops on to his behind.

FID:

Uh, huh huh. You shot me. You’re dead!

Bitch!

AUGUSTINE:

Doubtful. You see your body guards aren’t coming. Do you want to know why?

FID:

Uh uh , I’m bleeding to death. The blood is pouring out of me.

AUGUSTINE:

Yes! I thought I might use the same kind of Mercury bullets that you had used on me.

Rather my clone.

FID:

I had nothing to do with that.

AUGUSTINE:

Hell is hot Fid!

Lying is also a sin. You’ll be dead in less than a minute. Make peace.

I just wanted you to know before you die that now we’re even.

You set me up by distress call, remember?

Your last words to me before they dragged me away was “ It wasn’t a distress call. It was a way to capture you.”

FLASHBACK OF ABDUCTION OF AUGUSTINE:

——Camera shot from above as four Knights of FROM take her hostage…

The FROM are mostly mid scaled gray colored humanoids. Although they have minorities within their race whose skin is of both the white and black value.

The FROM has no actual skin colors like brown or pink or beige just values of black and white and the in between which is gray. Gray is the majority race while white and black skin values are most often ostracized or looked down upon.

AUGUSTINE FREED: (continues her account)

( Her voice walks us through the flashback.)

I was captured and tortured by the FROM because of you…and forced into making a recorded statement against Command Essential. Ending my career with them. At least that’s what we wanted you to believe.

FLASHBACK ENDS—-scene goes back to Fid’s office.

AUGUSTINE:

I am an Eagle.

For your information, we at E.A.G.L.E. aren’t as thin skinned as we’d like our enemies to believe. They’ve invested too much time and money into my transformation to just trash me after a ‘shame on you’ statement. We did however want you guys to believe that I was dishonorably discharged from Command Essential. Which for the record is at its best nothing more than a gum shoe policing agency. We wanted you to believe that you left me ruined and without any cover. You fell for it. Then you performed the final act and tried to have me killed. ‘Using that facial shifting mongrel from Cuzin and framing ‘Crap’ton Farce’ in the process.

FID:

F’FFuck him an’ fffuck youuu!

You’ve tried anyway. Was it worth it?

——Fid gasp and begins gagging as he wrings and clutches his bloody leg.

Don’t worry you’re not going alone. The FROM will follow. Their entire fucking race if need be!

——Fid falls over dead.

Augustine Freed stands in Fid’s dimly lit office by the front of his desk and pause-stands looking at her friend turned foe turned dead. She exhales and holsters her gun. She walks straight ahead past Fid’s body towards his office door and it ‘swishes’ right into the door frame exposing Augie’s eyes to immense light from outside. She exits Fid’s five hundred square foot office into the viewing room which houses one of many technological labs at E.A.G.L.E..

She turns left then makes another left cornering around the outside of Fid’s office. Agent Ross and three other agents of EAGLE stand at the guard rail watching as she approaches.

AUGUSTINE FREED:

It’s planted. Now we head fuck them. Dimension Place his office back in place where he will awaken.

——The female tech in the glassed in station on the tier above them sends the office back to Everfold territory.

Everfold Territory houses The homeworld of the FROM. The planet is called FROM and its people are the FROM.

There are three other extra terrestrial enemies of the United Front who resides in Everfold territory:

Usee insurgents from Modula. The people known as Rylaps from S112 and Zero, a quiet, yet formidable force to be reckoned with. Their home world Nothing lies near and is cloaked by a Nebula. Nothing sits in the uncharted seas of Everfold.

All four enemies of the state lie beyond the outskirts of the three neighboring regions. The Eastern Front, A.I. Phoenix and the United Front. The Vail Province is on the opposite side of the United Front border region, far from Everfold.

AUGUSTINE FREED:

…no blood. I shot him with tranquility water. He will think it was a dream. It had to be because he was deep inside enemy territory, safe and untouchable. We’ve set a course within his synapses to interject a bad dream. Then he’ll remember and check his pants for bullet holes. The interjection stops short of determining if he will tell the others. We’ll listen in further.

AGENT ROSS:

I hope that your rattling of this cage ends in our favor. There seems to be too many factors that are beyond our control.

AGENT ZACKARY:

We have limited options Ross. They plot and execute. We have to retaliate. Besides intel claims all out war is imminent. The From wants it all remember! Check recovered news transmissions. Look at how they strut in our territory yet no Earthling is allowed within Everfold.

I’m betting Fid confides in his go between and reveal that there is a kink in their shield.

If he does we will get a response of whether or not that was expected.

AGENT ROSS:

We are flying blind. We know very little about the capabilities of the FROM. Moreover we are unsure if we are solely going up against them. We Earthlings are without reliable allies.

AGENT BISCOTTI:

Shifting the subject; what the latest information on that ‘face shifting mongrel’ Razor? Are we epoxied? Are our agents sticking to him like glue.

AUGUSTINE:

He plans to kill Captain Faust as soon as the opportunity presents itself. Razor has augmented his physical self but is unaware that the Captain is superior in strength and is virtually invulnerable.

AGENT BISCOTTI:

Which leads me to believe that if the From’s Von of Price is pulling Razor’s strings then he is flying blind as well.

Still we should warn the captain. Razor is a dangerous adversary. What he lacks in strength he will make up in weaponry. Or cunning.

Case in point he shot you with Mercury bullets.

Quite unexpected. He tried to negate your ability to heal.

AUGUSTINE:

Omni-level sixteen. Thank you. My body purges all foreign materials. ‘But I wasn’t going to tell Fid that.

AGENT RAMON:

Again, you surmised their physical strength as Omni-human level eight?

AUGUSTINE:

Lowly trooper’s who initially abducted me, yes. I checked their strength as they forced me around here there. Shove me here… punches to the stomach. We are clearly outmatched but at least we have a starting point. Now we get my X-lover dipshit of a boyfriend Captain Faust and his stupid ass cousin to help get the ball rolling with disruptive actions.

AGENT ROSS:

Yes. Captain Faust. He is a wise and generous man.

——New shot on the Nemesis. Resource Counselors meeting room.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

I ain’t givin’ you shit!

——New shot wide and behind the Captain sitting at the large conference table. He stares across the table at Waay, Jovial and Resource Counselor Punce.

Waay has two black eyes and a large white gauze wrapped around his head. They, Waay, Jovial and Counselor Punce sit quietly looking at the Captain.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

You’re lucky I didn’t kill you for real. In fact both of you are.

It was in my right. Command Essential kills deserters I might remind you.

RESOURCE COUNSELOR PUNCE:

Captain, I was merely suggesting that you might want to offset Ensign Waay’s and Ensign Jenkins pain and suffering through money supplementation. It would most likely end the thickness coursing throughout this ship. You can’t deny that your actions have once again caused a downer to the crew. After all, you did start your ‘take on things’ with an apology.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Yes, and silly me thought that would suffice the issue. But no. Give these two pricks an extra million to keep things quiet. To placate them while knowing that this would not have happened if they had both stayed on the ship and not shirked their responsibilities.

Fuck no!

Placate them? With money? With my money? Are you fucking crazy? Huh?

Fuck you!

You know, I got shot too! ‘And it wasn’t with a little ass Pico. Stupid ass bitches!

‘And you wanna know what’s the ‘capper‘ in all of this entire situation? Waay had his breast reverted back to a chest and his penis reclaimed. Do you know why? It’s because Jovial likes dick not pussy! Oops, They had a misunderstanding! My bad guys.

More whimsical shit!

——Lieutenant Faust sits next to the Captain with his elbow planted on his chair’s armrest. His face’s right cheek resting on his balled up fist. He listens as if not wanting to be in the room.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Alright, I am going to give you both the money. If that’s what it takes to get things back to normal around here. ‘But I’ll tell ya’ I ain’t liking this. You both should be getting court martialed. ‘But instead you are receiving an extra mil over the mil you just received from the Sandrift transaction. For doing absolutely nothing.

Cheers! ‘And I solute you!

Is that all?

——New shot: The camera quickly pans Resource Counselor Punce, Ensign Waay and Ensign Jenkins as they remain seated staring blankly at the Captain. The camera shot widens after passing ‘the assboy’.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

If so then this meeting is adjourned.

——Continuous camera shot as the Captain says this. Remain filming and slowly zoom in on Punce.

RESOURCE COUNSELOR PUNCE:

Yes, I am in agreement. Let us end this ‘touch of bases’ by saying that we are all in need of one another. We travel these stars on this vessel, coursing through time and space and realities. These are conditions that make it very difficult to maintain a healthy resolve. Not only is the future for us within the somewhat terrifying chasm of the unknown, but also our feelings and reactions that come about from these revelations. Emotions can set us on a detrimental path towards disaster or worse destruction. We must get a hold of our minds and selves. Be kind to one another through these desperate troubling moments. We are all that we have.

With that we will end here.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Well thank you Dr. Heistlenberg for those words of wisdom. For the record, since we are recording, and being all honest here, again, I want you to know that I am against you being on my ship. Your words of encouragement are bullshit! We ride a war vessel. Fuck compassion! That caring sissy shit will get us killed. You, Counselor Punce, are the weakest link of our outfit. Your assignment to my crew is unwarranted and unwanted by me and most of the crewmen. It is my belief that you would better serve the United Front on the ground in a settlement where things have transitioned over towards civility. ‘But you most definitely should not be on an attack vessel. Conducting things the way that you are conducting them. ‘And headfucking the way you are headfucking. Your bullshit Buddha nature shit will cause hesitation in my crew. ‘And you inadvertently misalign my authority to my men. I can no longer tolerate this. I will do all that is within my power to have you dropped from our detail Counselor Punce. Is that clear?

——The Captain looks at Waay and Jovial.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Hand over your stylus.

——Waay and Jovial Jenkins quickly take out their stylus and push them across the surface of the table top towards the Captain.

The Captain dabs each stylus with his own and shoved them back and stands straight.

RESOURCE COUNSELOR PUNCE:

Captain is there something bothering you of late? Remember you have a long awaited session with me.

——The Captain tightens his lips.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Meeting adjourned. Is that okay with you…er captain? You’re the captain right? You run the ship.

——New shot: Outside view of the conference room. The membrane disappears and the Captain walks out followed by the Lieutenant and then Shok Apani the Load Director. They make their way around the curved hallway of the Nemesis. They are silent. The Captain is angry but says nothing until he reaches his quarters.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Jody see to it that I am alerted when we reach Zone 38. Get the President on the phone and also conference and begin Parlez with that secretary at Sandrift to finagle a sit down. I want to resolve this issue regarding the mining of my home Etire. Helena kicking my ass over it.

LIEUTENANT FAUST:

We’re coasting. We’ll be in 38 in an hour. Where do you want the conference to begin on the Nemesis or your space station?

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Agatha is preferred but ASAP is more important.

LIEUTENANT FAUST:

Is there time? I have to call Lotti.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Sure. Have Houser call me upon arrival.

LIEUTENANT FAUST:

Will do sir.

——Jody and Shok walk out of the shot while the membrane of the captain’s cabin wipes away as he enters the large quarters. Helena is on the visualization telephone as she sits on the bed. The energy screen hovers in front of her and she shies away from her husband’s unexpected appearance. It is her massage guru on the phone with her. Her boyfriend. The Captain quickly walks over to the other side of the king sized bed in full view of the screen. He puts his left knee on to the bed leans and drops on to the mattress palms down arms supporting his upper body. The Captain looks squarely around Helena into the screen at Brick Slon the hairdresser/masseuse who happens to be known by law enforcement as a giggolo.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

What’s wrong? Money’s getting tight because my wife’s legs and purse have closed on ya’!

HELENA:

Oh God… I told you that we’re through…

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Who? Me and you or you and him?

HELENA:

Brick I will call you late…

CAPTAIN FAUST:

If you ever contact or see my wife again I’m gonna break your fuckin’ face!

You hear me?

——Helena blanks the call and the screen vanishes.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Tactful. Very tactful Helena. You could have at least waited until I dropped you off before pulling out your kinky wears.

HELENA:

I was trying to connect with him professionally.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Is that suppose to make me feel better?

He’s a hooker!

HELENA:

Oh…

CAPTAIN FAUST:

All you are to him is a meal ticket. Why can’t you get that through your head?

HELENA:

Why can’t you get it through your head that it’s over between Brick and I.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Then what the hell are you calling him for?

HELENA:

I need my hair done…pedicure… manicure… my nails done. The things you like to see on me…

CAPTAIN FAUST:

I told you to find another stylist. A legitimate one…

HELENA:

You know that I tried several and we’ve agreed that they aren’t as good as Slon!

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Fuck Slon!

——Helena goes silent and there is a pause within the room.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Alright. This is unsettling. It’s making me sick! If I were to use Brain Scan on us to bring forth truth, I think we would both be disappointed with each other.

I would do just that if I wasn’t too afraid to know what your real feelings are towards that man.

Listen to me Helena, I have been meaning to tell you something. Before more bullshit comes up.

It’s currently pressing me and I’m sure that you aren’t going to like it. So I will get to it.

Sabene. She’s pregnant.

——Pause. Helena stares at the captain then anger swells in her face.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Now don’t snap off or say anything until you have heard all that I have to say.

HELENA:

What!

CAPTAIN FAUST:

It’s not my child. It’s Roger’s child. Captain Montgomery. I’m saddled to cart her and the child away. Far away from the harm Roger’s wife and Roger himself would inflict upon her and their child.

You think I’m evil? Well you don’t know Rodge and his wife. I married Sabene as a favor to my former superior; and Sabene. I’m distracting his attention in the hopes of taking her off somewhere far and away from him. Away from Captain Montgomery.

Sabene was his Chart Officer and subsequent night whence. Unfortunately for her, she loved ‘Rodgy’ and did not foresee that he only had one thing in mind for her. She told me how she came to this realization but I will spare you the harsh details. All I know is that I was tired when she came to me crying. She cried and cried as she spoke to me and ‘hocked’ out worrisome feelings of her parents finding out about her illegitimate pregnancy. What could I do?

I had initially trained her and felt some sort of need…responsibility to help her. I value our friendship. Which is strictly plutonic by the way. Yes, that’s right. I have not slept with her.

Say something.

HELENA:

What could you do? You most certainly should not have done that.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Helena we were separated.

HELENA:

Yes and still married. Does that mean anything to you?

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Of course it does.

——Pause.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Look I am trying to find a place to take her. Earth’s out. That’s Captain Montgomery’s stomping ground. He has a large family there too. Cuzin I considered but that Indian hates her people. She hates that she is full blooded Cuzin. Which is funny because Captain Montgomery actually was hot for her because of the fact that she was Cuzin. The way she tells it, he said he loves her. All that is her. He loves her sleepy eyes. Her extreme cleft chin and button nose. Most especially he’s emphasized how much he appreciates her double chambered vagina.

HELENA:

Ewe, no more. I thought you were going to spare me.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

…As soon as she got knocked up, and refused to abort, he shit himself.

Now I’m locked up in this shit! What am I gonna do with her? Do you have any suggestions? She’s broke and doesn’t want to go to Earth or Cuz’ins.

HELENA:

Huh!

——Pause.

HELENA:

My my captain. It’s really hurtful to me that you are so preoccupied with the concerns of another man’s problems. Perhaps if you showed me as much interest in our marriage I would not have ended up in a vulnerable position during my massage therapy session.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Yeah right. Go’head blame me.

HELENA:

You always seem to show your friends or family or this person or that person your support. ‘But what about me? Where was your concern with our house falling apart.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Got’ damnit Helena, don’t fuck with me right now about the past. I tried very hard to right the wrongs between us. You got jewelry up the ass and get 13 grand a week from me. That’s over the 1.2 trillion that sits in your own personal checking account. Do I fuck with you about your money? No! You can do what you want -when you want. Go ‘fuckin’ and spending money all day long if you want! ‘And probably have been. You have another 2 trillion in your saving account. You don’t have to work another day in your life.

Some bitches would at least cut a nigga’ a break but not you.

HELENA:

Watch it! I don’t like neither one of those words. ‘And fuck cutting you a break. I’m your wife. I don’t have to. ‘and all of this shit is because you fucked up! Yeah when you slept with that Augie Freed tramp! I threw you out and you decided to go spree fucking!

‘And that’s ongoing.

Again and again.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Fucked up! That was years ago. But as far as screwing around…So did you. Fuckin’ Slon! I’m sure he wasn’t the only one.

HELENA:

Fuck you!

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Look I am coming to you for advice but I see that this is going to go no where, so I’m leaving.

I’ll be back later after we’ve both cooled down.

——The Captain edges towards the door.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

I’m leaving because I’m angry; …and confused. I’m leaving to prevent us from having one of our many anger fucks.

Sated, yes, but unresolved. Another sated yet unresolved fuck! Then we’re angry at each other again.

I’ll handle the issue with Sabene.

HELENA:

Just make sure that you do. I want copies signed of those divorce documents like you did with Madeleine. Thank you sir!

——As Helena remains seated on the bed she waves off her husband. The discussion has ended. The Captain exits his quarters in a huff.

He walks the curved hall then pats at his shirt pocket for his smokes. They aren’t there. He checks his gun belt. They are there in a pouch. He pulls the package out, fingers a cigarette out of the pack and reaches for his lighter in the pouch. It’s not there. He abruptly stops and frantically searches his body. First patting his pants pockets then his gun belts pouches. Even the pouch he already checked. He breathes out hard. Slightly panicked the Captain begins searching all over his body. With sheer rudimentary habit, he slaps his hands fervently all over his body. He eventually end up at his shirt pocket. It’s there. He retrieves the cigarette lighter and uses it to light his cigarette. He draws it in and exhales relief. He enters the Arch Placer and exits the one on the bridge. Smoke swirls about him as he descends the rubber mat that coats the ramp. He listens in and watches Jody converse with Janet Voss corporate executive and lead secretariat of Sandrift Mining and Construction.

JANET VOSS:

…I am not. Lieutenant Faust I am not understanding what exactly you are asking of me.

——President Wright cuts into the conversation. He is not on screen just audio.

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

Excuse me Lieutenant for interrupting you. Janet, what I am asking for is a truce between Sandrift and Command Essential. This has gone on long enough and it would be in all of our best interest to put aside the past. I want both parties to shake hands and begin working together again.

JANET VOSS:

Yes of course Mr. President. We all want this sir.

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

The attack on Lieutenant Faust and his family cancels out the lost of your precious metals.

We are now even.

JANET VOSS:

Yes sir.

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

It’s come to my attention that you have set eyes upon Captain Faust’s personal planet Etire.

This is not to take place. I want you to acknowledge.

JANET VOSS:

Absolutely Mr. President..

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

The Captain will offset this loss by once again providing Sandrift with police security. For exactly one year quarterly Sandrift will pay Captain Faust’s detail $15 trillion dollars. After the year’s end the price will revert back to $18 trillion per quarter. Are we on the same page ma’am?

JANET VOSS:

We are sir.

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

Good. That about covers it.

I want us all to meet at Windermere for the weekend. In the White Alps of Cobere, Vail Province. There we can all relax, enjoy the scenery, drink wine and take a dip in the frosty hot springs. I want us all to get reacquainted with each other. Let our hair down and act like we’re on vacation. That’s in Twenty four hours and I won’t accept a no show. The First Lady and I will expect to see you all, the entire Sandrift entourage. You and the Lieutenant as well Captain. Your wives respectively.

JANET VOSS:

Of course. We’d love to attend.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Yes sir.

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

Good. I have a few things to discuss with the Captain darling, so Lieutenant you can end her connection.

JANET VOSS:

Yes sir.

LIEUTENANT FAUST:

Right away. Yes sir.

——Janet Voss disappears from the screen.

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

Captain there were ten Capital Response Officers killed during the attack at the Regal theater. I will personally give part of my portion of the Sandrift transaction to the officers’ surviving spouses and family members. I am pledging two hundred billion dollars from the five trillion received from you.

The arrested perpetrators both at the sight and those that lie within 38 special will be released with a warning to vanish to infinity. I want this to be a faded event. Is that clear?

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Absolutely sir. The only question that I might bring up to you is whether those of the lost will let it go. That’s an enormous amount of money however some will most likely insist that the perpetrators receive prosecution.

PRESIDENT WRIGHT:

Tie up loose ends? Rest assured Captain that the news media is onboard as always. Prison barge U47 was lost through Dimension Displacement. Faulty maintenance will be the cause of a particular Dimension Placer trans-placing only 79 percent of its load, while leaving 21 percent at its start point. I will have this news released exactly two weeks and three days after the distribution of funds through our governmental insurance company.

The families of the slain police officers will by then look for solace through the use of consumer wants and needs. It’s their option above all other options.

We cannot bring their family members back. They realize this. It’s a horrid situation that we are dealing with, an emptiness that can never be filled. They will try though. They will, like most humans, cover up their pain through purchases and consumption. They will tell themselves that ‘hey, now we have money. Lots of it. Most of our troubles are over. No more worries about the rent. No more worry about how they are going to provide for the children, pay for food and clothing. No more problems. Let’s move. Start a new beginning…Their struggle is over. Unfortunately, deep down, I know that this is a lie. ‘And so do they.

That wraps this case up.

Case closed.

Any other concerns?

——There is a cold quietness on the bridge.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

None sir.

——The President’s face pops on screen and he stares at the interstellar police. He abruptly stands and the screen blanks black and fizzes.

——The Captain changes focus from the screen to the bridge.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Highly confidential information. I don’t have to warn you of the dangers that will befall us if lips are flapping.

——Quietness on the bridge.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Huh?

——The bridge acknowledges the Captain.

THE BRIDGE:

Yes sir.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Good. Do not take what I just said and you’ve agreed upon lightly. Absolutely no gossiping beyond the bridge. In fact, I would prefer that it doesn’t go beyond this moment. Forget what you’ve heard from the President. For all our sakes.

THE BRIDGE:

Yes sir.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

Good. I’ll be in my quarters. Houser alert at arrival please.

CORPORAL HOUSER:

As requested sir.

LIEUTENANT FAUST:

Captain, I must decline the President’s invitation.

Various reasons. Mostly the inconvenience. Mainly I’m not having someone babysitting my kids. ‘And I’m not taking my children or wife around people who have tried to have them assassinated. I’m sure you can relate.

CAPTAIN FAUST:

(Pause) Yes, I can.

The Prez though, wants you to show no hard feelings. That’s my guess. Also wants to read you. ‘Show there won’t be any reprisals.

It’s your call Cuz’. I understand.

——Jody Faust says nothing more and watches the Captain turn and go up the ramp towards the Arch Placer.

NEW SHOT: EAGLE TACTICAL / EARTH//CALI POINT.

The Assessment Room has industrial windows that allows viewers to see the outdoors. They are reinforced to protect its occupants. Somewhat glossy white plastic panels make up the office walls. Augustine Freed sits at the round table with the Objective Team. They listen to the live audio of Fid who is now awaken.

NOTE TO DIRECTOR:

Film dub FROM/ FRIMGOMITES: The audio interpretation device is active during this scene. Show BROWDUCT and WEERER and FID’S mouth moving but not matching with the sounds coming out of their mouths.

FID:

Don’t you think that I know how it sounds? That you’ll possibly have me institutionalized again. But at what cost? To make yourselves feel better.

It’s great detriment to me trying to be honest with you guys. That should at least show you where my loyalty lies. Doesn’t it?

NEW SHOT: EVERFOLD TERRITORY/

Planet FROM

Made City

BROWDUCT:

You’re worthless. We should have done away with your white ass a long time ago. We hate your type. You and all white Frimgomites. It makes me sick just looking at you. Breathing the same air with you.

Those black Frimgomites as well. We need to gather both groups up and torch you all.

WEERER:

That’s in the works Browduct.

——Fid begins to shake. Weerer looks over to the two FROM knights who are also in Fid’s office.

WEERER:

Arrest this lying wretch!

——Fid goes into full nerve spasm. He sits at his desk looking at both knights as they approach and part directions going to opposite ends of his desk.

FID:

Wait…Please…

——Knight Halibus stands to the left side of Fid’s chair.

KNIGHT HALIBUS:

Stand and place your arms behind your back and then turn your back towards me.

——Executioners, the FROM knights wear light armor with light helmets that obscure their faces. Their voices are also disguised by voice harmonic mechanisms.

FID:

The Von of Price! Please let me speak to him!

——Knight Witowt, with malice, pulls out his dull metallic pipe that is about a foot long and hits Fid on the top of his head with it making a pinging sound. Fid’s skull is fractured and blood pours from the cut on top of his head. Fid grasps the desk as the two From knights rip him out of his seat and slams him chest down on to the desktop. They wrestle him into handcuffs and stand him

up straight.

FID:

The Von of Priiiice! He will want to hear what I have to say. ‘And he…

——From knight Witowt punches Fid in the mouth with his jagged Plex suit gloved fist. There are puncture marks around his mouth that bleed. Browduct and Weerer shake their heads in pity and begin walking towards Fid’s door. They exit with the two knights following closely tussling Fid along with them.

They are in Fid’s commodities office. The shared workers location used by brokers to secure investment deals. There are seven more FROM knights spread throughout the room. As they lead their boss out in handcuffs the workers watch while still trying to conduct business. Most of the ‘so called’ Frimgomites are white but there are several grays and a few black skinned FROM present.

The group, which is the Quarter Points Guard to Made City take the service elevator down to ground level.

——The twelve FROM men travel in silence as the elevator descends. Fid tries again to gain their confidence. Now using threats and anger along with reason.

FID:

You all know that you are committing treason. You are preforming a coup that you won’t get away with. We are From. All of us. Not Frimgomites. Just From; We are black, white and gray. From from From. Those humans from United Front are mind controlling you all. You fools. Wake up. Can’t you see that?

WEERER:

Silence! Your words mean nothing. We see you squirm. Begging now for your life but it won’t help. We have come to the conclusion that there can be only one kind of From. It is us. The Grays. As far as Earthlings, we control them. As you will soon see before your death. It’s in the works.

The current of our society has changed. Unfortunately for you, you are being phased out. There is no more room for your kind in our world. For the Grays, speaking as one of them, we are the real FROM. You Frimgomites are cast off. The chipped off pieces from a masterpiece sculpture. More so an evolutionary mistake that we FROM will rectify. You mark my words.

FID:

You’re a fool! You mark that. Okay, you refuse to let me speak with the Von of Price. Suit yourselves…I am ready for death. Life has been abysmal. Especially the last four decades that spawned you brain dead hate mongers. You have achieved your goal by establishing your hatred amongst our people and instilling fear and resentment within us. ‘You have succeeded in your efforts to drive our people apart.

BROWDUCT:

We are not your people.

FID:

Particularly you guys aren’t. I am referring to the people who still have brains. If you had brains you would see that a people divided will lose the war.

You’re obviously a planted tool of the United Front.

BROWDUCT:

Shut this thing up.

FID:

Thing? I am a master of the universe. Yes, I am white. I am white and am not a racist like you. I love all people. Even Earthlings. The greedy self-entitled humanoids that have been plaguing the universe for over eight hundred years now. Yes even them. I have lived four hundred of those eight hundred years. I’ve watched and played the game. I’ve learned and grew and made a lot of friends but now war has come. A reckoning to the selfish and spoiled. I am that reckoning. I will start first by destroying you. Yes, you Knight in Arms Weerer. ‘And you Browtrash’ and all who stand with you.

BROWDUCT:

I said shut up!

——Browduct back hands Fid’s but this time Fid doesn’t flinch. Browduct’s hand breaks off and flaps backwards away from the impact of Fid’s face and drops on the floor.

—-There is a sizzling sound that instantly wipes out the Quarter Points Guard. Fid is alone in the elevator.

FID;

It’s war. Do you hear me Agent Freed?

I will be coming for you. Prepare yourself for death.

NEW SHOT: CALI POINT/ EAGLE/ASSESSMENT OFFICE

AUGUSTINE FREED:

Yeah right.

—-Immediately the voice of EAGLE DIRECTOR, L.T. Vaccares comes through the desk comm.

L.T. VACCARES:

Agent Freed, you and your team report immediately to Guidance hall.

AUGUSTINE FREED:

We are on the way.

——Agents Ross, Zackary, Biscotti, Ramon and Freed walk through the double wide door through its membrane. They are now in the hallway that leads into Guidance. Straight ahead of them, walking toward them from Essential office is their Director.

They reach the circular table and sit. Director Vaccares reaches the table and sits.

DIRECTOR VACCARES:

Eyes.

——Visual imagery begins playing to each party seated at the table.

DIRECTOR VACCARES:

Sound waves and captured emitted bio techno unit vapes forged the video you are viewing. This is what happened in the elevator.

——The sizzling sound goes off and the Quarter Point Guards are vaporized.

DIRECTOR VACCARES:

We’re in trouble. We have vaporizers but this is a step above. Look again at how Browduct’s hand snaps off. To me it’s as if a shield formed around Fid. Not the strength of his body’s resistance. As if by his will abilities arise. He seems to be able to kill by the use of universal connectivity.

AUGUSTINE FREED:

What about Brain scan? Is it true that we are behind the covert operation? Have we been conducting the racial cleansing going on over there?

DIRECTOR VACCARES:

We are Eagle.

No! It is not true.

Our tech reveals the origin of the trans radio waves that are manipulating the FROM. They are traveling from the Nebula next to the planet Nothing. Which leads me to believe that ZERO is behind this.

Fid’s defense shield likens to the scope of our investigation. We have been monitoring energy readings from Nothing for some time now. Monitoring and categorizing them. With what happened in the elevator I am sure of it.

AUGUSTINE FREED:

How shall we proceed sir?

DIRECTOR VACCARES:

I’ve alerted the President. The Queen Mother and Joint Chiefs of Staff. I have also recommended an action call of alliance. Not only with Vail and the Eastern Front, but also Frankenstein’s monster.

A.I.Phoenix.

——A few quiet gasp and twisting in their seats and the Eagle agents regain emotionless composure.

AUGUSTINE FREED:

A.I. Phoenix?
