Episode Five
FUCK IT! AGAIN
Opening shot: Hinif’s patio. Camera filming behind the Captain. Arrivi the assassin faces forward to the right of Captain Faust. Lieutenant Faust is standing to the right of Arrivi facing him. The Captain approaches Arrivi as he shakes uncontrollably and lightly shoves him. Arrivi falls the ground.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Some assassin you’ve turned out to be.
Shorty, we’re out.
—-They hastily make their way to the pathway that leads to the side of the mansion. Two of the remaining three security guards follow loosly behind them. ( Cameraman follows the Captain and Lieutenant to the right in the grass.)
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Nemesis, from what you’ve uncovered in Arrivi’s thoughts. Did you locate any of his backup?
—-The walkway takes them to the driveway where the Captain’s Camaro is parked.

NEMESIS:
Inbound, ten aero cyclist. Armed and will reach your car within seventeen seconds.
—-The Captain and Lieutenant break for the Camaro.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Start Cheryl!
Nemesis, any others?
—-The Captain opens his door while Jody lifts his leg inside of the car and quickly slides his body into the passenger seat afterwards.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
Let’s go!
—-The Camaro levitates as the two officers click in their body restraints.
NEMESIS:
There are presumably more. I haven’t located them as of yet. Shall I take them? The cyclist Captain?
Six seconds.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Got this. Stay cloaked!
Cloak Cheryl!
—-The black panther goes higher than the roof of the mansion and begins turning right on an incline. Three cyclist come over the tree line in front of the mansion as the Camaro does this. Cheryl cloaks. The first aero cycle ahead of the group which has now grown into five begins shooting hard plastic projectiles from a port mounted near the cycle’s source bay. The cyclist shoots into empty space. Although this is the case she holds the trigger continuously and turns towards the estimated route of the Captain’s Camaro. Tat tat tat the bullets hit along the windshield and passenger door panel.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
Shit!
—-Jody hangs on to the bar over the passenger door. The Captain turns the Camaro wide right to circle behind all ten cycles. Jody’s head is nearly flung to the left into the Captain’s head which is leaning right into the pull of the turn. The aero cyclists are unaware of this maneuver.
The three lead cycles break low and descend slowly towards the driveway. The Captain breaks from the remaining seven that are searching the area to follow the lead three. The Captain makes the Camaro do an equestrian sidewalk. The front of the vehicle points downward at the subjects of viewing while the car moves laterally and then curves around the corner of the mansion to the patio where the cyclist have stopped. They have their handguns drawn. Hinif is talking to them. His guards have their hands in the air. Hinif raises his hands in the air. Arrivi still lays on the ground but tries to lift himself to connect and show allegiance to the three cyclist. The cyclist stay focused on Hinif and his men, the conversation is getting heated.
Even at nearly two hundred yards one could see that the cyclists are angry enough to kill. Lieutenant Faust reaches into the cubby box and grabs the Co-Pilot Assault Grip and pulls it out of the box. It fits in his hand like a set of brass knuckles. A humming sound courses the vehicle. The Co-Pilot Assault Grip has a red button on the top side of the opening for Jody’s index finger. The windshield displays in blood shade red three diamond shapes around each individual cyclist.
The three aero assassins look down the sights of their handguns at Hinif and his security guards to steady their shots. Lieutenant Faust depresses the trigger. Cheryl instantaneously uncloaks and fires small pressure bolts.
The bolts first separates the assassins trigger hand from their body and then goes to their head and back region. The attackers fall from their bikes on to the patio. Their three cycles remain hover parked. Arrivi finally stands but is still wobbly. He then looks at the bloody mess on the deck and quickly stares up at the black panther.
NEW SHOT: INTERNAL OF THE BLACK PANTHER LOOKING OUT OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD.
—-Arrivi falls then quickly gets up off of the ground and staggers to gain balance. A red diamond appears around him.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
Perpetrator, nine o’clock. Arrivi.
NEW SHOT: CLOSE UP OF JODY’S THUMB CLICKING THE CO-PILOT ASSAULT GRIP.
NEW SHOT: APPROXIMATELY FORTY FEET ABOVE AND FORTY FEET AWAY, ARRIVI’S RECEIVES BELOW THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BASE OF HIS RIB CAGE UP TO THE LEFT CLAVICLE TWELVE MINI BOLTS. CONFUSED-BLOOD SUDDENLY SPURTS OUT OF THE WOUND THAT RESEMBLES A BACKWARD LETTER “C”. THE TOP PORTION OF ARRIVI’S BODY BREAKS AND EXPLODES OFF OF HIS LOWER TORSO AND FALLS TO THE GROUND. THE BOTTOM PORTION FOLDS OVER AND DROPS.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
You play you pay!
—-Hinif is horrified. He and his three guards bustle to the patio door, work themselves inside of the mansion and slams the door shut.
NEMESIS:
Captain, you’re visible..
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Yes I know. The output is leveling out.
NEMESIS:
Look out!
—-Hard plastic bullets rips across their windshield cracking it. There is an aero cyclist above and perpendicular to them around one hundred ninety yards away and closing. Two other cyclists join in behind and off to side of it. They thrust at maximum velocity towards the officers’ squad car. With the grip still in hand Lieutenant Faust keys in on the shooter and fires. The Captain throws the panther in reverse and throttles hard. Lieutenant Faust wings the cycle and the lead cyclist drops out of the air twenty feet from the side of the Camaro. The two-remaining cyclist; one S- curves in front of the squad car and past and nearly out of sight. Continuing a perpendicular course away from the barrage of steady pressure bolts from Jody. The other drops low and out of sight.
The black panther Camaro has travelled a great distance in reverse. Lieutenant Faust watches the falling cyclist hang on to his handlebars and is being dragged downward. He lets go of the handlebars and pops open his glide suit and rises away from the falling cycle. Three seconds later the cycle hit the lawn of Hinif’s next door neighbor. A light wind carries him safely up and twenty yards away from the crash site.
The Captain is cupping the headrest of Lieutenant Faust’s seat. He is looking out the back window still going in reverse.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
You want some too?
—-Jody Faust looks over his cousin’s arm that is cupping his headrest out of the back window. Four cyclist approaching from the rear. The Captain throttles harder. The vehicle seems for a microsecond to pause then bolt into an even higher acceleration rate. The first two bikes are able to speed past Cheryl. This is not the case for the other two. She collides with the cyclist before they could react to the speed of Cheryl. Made of Etire, Cheryl hits them, bending and twisting the frames of the fabricated aero cycles and their riders in the air where gravity takes them down and out of their spin to the ground.
The remaining four aero cyclist gather together to rally themselves. They form two groups. Two cycles per group. They quickly link in an energy line within each group. The lines extend from one cycle’s source bay into the other cyclist source bay. The two groups are now a coupled set. Cycle Group One keys in a setting to lock on to Symbiotic Elemental Righting. They locate Cheryl’s signature then set their launch for three seconds. They hunch down and hang on for dear life. The voice in their helmets count down: Three two one. Within seconds they have traveled forty miles and are on the tail end of the black panther Camaro.
CYCLE GROUP ONE:
Captain, before we send you and your trigger happy cousin there to the rocks below could I ask you a question?
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Shoot.
CYCLE GROUP ONE:
Is Sandrift the one to have? I mean, if you had lived, would you consider Sandrift a sound choice in your stock portfolio?
CAPTAIN FAUST:
A smart guy, huh?
CYCLE GROUP ONE:
Hey Lieutenant Faust, why don’t you shoot? Afraid that low output could cause your drive to fail? (He smiles.)
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
Not as afraid as I am of yo’ momma!
CYCLE GROUP ONE:
That’s a good one. You guys ready?
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Wait a second. Let’s talk about this. You don’t want to do anything rash now do you. Executing officers of the law is a heavy undertaking. I don’t think you’ve thought this out completely. Besides, what about the metals? Both the metals and money are within your reach. You let us go and I’ll give them to you.
CYCLIST GROUP ONE:
Nah. That eighteen trillion that you guys stole was just bus fare to them. Initially they did want the Platinum and Gold caches back. ‘but you guys made too much of a fool out of them. Now they want your hides. They have a need to make a statement. Send a message to all greedy pigs, like you and your cousin.
‘But as far as their losses go, you can rest assured that they already have prospects in the works regarding that. They’re going to mine your planet Etire. Recoup way more than they lost. All that is left to do is run ‘little wifey’ off. ‘Or kill her. Whichever’s easiest.
CYCLIST GROUP TWO: I’ll get in front of them. we’ll both zap out the receptors.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
May I ask you a question?
CYCLIST GROUP ONE:
What is it?
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Are you married? ‘Have someone? A girlfriend perhaps?
CYCLIST GROUP ONE:
Grovel why don’t ya. Jeez!
CAPTAIN FAUST:
I am not groveling. I am simply curious in knowing if the guy I’m about to kill has life insurance.
CYCLIST GROUP ONE:
(laughing) Okay Captain, are you ready to die?
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Me? Absolutely not. Are you? Let me introduce you to Devastation. I’m sure that you have heard of it. ‘watched my trial on tv. Stupid ass revealed it. One of our most valued secret weapons. All of my vessels are equipped with it. Even this little puppy.
——The Captain pets the dashboard of Cheryl.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
‘And of course the Nemesis.
——Relatively speaking, the giant assault vessel Nemesis uncloaks in front of them all. It follows in front of them in reverse.
CYCLIST GROUP TWO:
Holy shit!
CYCLIST GROUP ONE:
Back off or we will kill them!
CAPTAIN FAUST:
With what?
——The energy power lines between both sets of bikes zaps sizzles and is gone. They all coast along quietly with the Nemesis ahead of them. It’s tactical bay in full view of them.
NEMESIS:
Shall I take them out Captain?
——The Captain doesn’t answer the Nemesis.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
I could arrest you but you see I’ve got a need as well to make a statement. And that statement is;
You can take my place. If it suits me.
Drop them!
——All four cycles’ power sources stop and they drop from their positions. The cyclists howl.
There’s a fabric snap and a visual of the falling cyclists appears on to the windshield.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Nemesis you heard him. They’re after my wife. Time Mach to her and get her to Ornament 38. Don’t take any shit from her. If she lips off or refuses take her into custody!
——There is a’ Voomp‘ sound and the Nemesis is gone.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
They’ve popped open their glide suits.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Bozzo the fuckers.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
My approval is on record.
——Lieutenant Jody’Shorty’ Faust removes the Co-Pilot Assault Grip places it back into the cubby. He removes his gun glove from his right hand and touches Cheryl’s dashboard. From his touch, not DNA or fingerprints, but his slight touch, she authorizes Bozzo from Devastation. The four falling cyclists receive a linkage of electric current. They shake and burn as they fall.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Gloria were hitching a ride from you.
SERGEANT LEE:
Chris, Rom and I have boarded and are commanding the troops as we speak.
We’re putting down a failed offensive and need time to secure the area. I’ll send ten Rangers to keep you guys company.
Wait until you see what I got us.
Out.
——The lieutenant’s phone rings.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
I have to take this. It’s Lottie.
Yeah.
LOTTIE FAUST:
Where are you?
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
Far far away.
LOTTIE:
Are you okay.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
I’m good. We’ll talk soon.
LOTTIE:
Be careful.
I love you.
LIEUTENANT FAUST:
I am. I love you too. I’ll be there soon.
Bye.
——The Captain and Lieutenant coast awhile.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
You guys get Helena yet?
NEMESIS:
She’s boarded. On a tirade now. There were shady characters outside of the planet. They ran off.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
As long as you’ve got her.
Good job.
Did you mark trace those shady guys?
NEMESIS:
Got them sir.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Good man! Come pick us up.
NEMESIS:
Right away sir.
Out.
CAPTAIN FAUST:
Things are looking up ’Shorty’.
Money money money!
